Every chord on the site, 31 shapes across 21 chords. Each one is printable, and the 5 with more than one fingering worth knowing have a page of their own.

Open chords

At least one string rings without being pressed. These are the shapes a first month is built from.

Barre chords

One finger presses several strings at once. Harder to start, and movable once they work.

Seventh chords

A fourth note added to the triad. They pull the ear towards the chord that comes next.

Power chords

Root and fifth, no third. Neither major nor minor, which is why they hold up under distortion.
