Chord Charts for Teachers

Print as many copies as you need, for any class, without asking. No account, no watermark across the diagrams.

What you are allowed to do

Print, photocopy and hand out anything on this site to your students. Put the sheets in a course pack, a worksheet or a hand-out. Use the diagrams in your own teaching material. None of it needs permission and none of it costs anything, now or later.

The only line is reselling the sheets as they are, or republishing them as the main content of another site or app. The full wording is on the terms page, and it is short.

Every sheet carries printchords.com in small type at the bottom rather than a watermark over the diagrams. That is deliberate: a watermark makes a page not worth printing, and a student who liked the hand-out should be able to find the rest.

What to print for a class

For a first lesson, the beginner chart is the one to hand out: eight open shapes, no barre chords, in the order they are worth learning. It stays useful for a term.

Keep a stack of blank sheets for everything the printed charts do not cover. Writing a shape down by hand as you show it fixes it in a way that reading one does not, and the six-diagram version is the right size for younger students and thick pens.

For a wall, the full chord chart and the pentatonic boxes print large and read from across a room. Everything is pure black on white, so a tired photocopier does not lose anything.

Every sheet, ready to print

Each one gives you the printable PDF, the PNG for a slide, and a Print button.

Linking to these charts

If a class page or a resource list is the easiest way to get the sheets to your students, link straight to the page rather than to the file, so the copy they reach is always the current one. No attribution format is required.
